I found a quote by a photographer for National Geographic: "Adventure is nothing but bad planning". While this is not something you will hear commonly in anaesthetics (I hope) I imagine that many life experiences in Malawi over the nexy 6 months may well bring that thought back to me!
I do, however, as of two days ago now have a flight so am due to head off into the veld on the 5th of May. I will start writing properly when I'm there.
